The Lion Cub Program is a new Pilot effort offered for Kindergarteners that is being tested by the National Captial Area Council, Bull Run District, & Pack 1831.
- Lion Dens are the kindergarteners in a Cub Scout Pack
- Lion Cubs must join with a parent partner who attends meetings with them and helps with adventures
- Lions have their own unique “Lion” T-Shirts & Hats; Lions may wear Class A Uniforms but are not required to do so
- Lions have an age appropriate Lion Adventure Book
- Lions earn stickers for their Adventure Book and then receive belt loops like the older scouts
- Lions should attend age appropriate events and monthly Pack Meetings as their parents feel are appropriate
- Lions meet weekly and attend Pack meeting but are done by 7:45 on Den meeting nights.
