The Arrow of Light Den(s) are import to both young scouts and the scouting program. When a scout becomes an AOL (second year Webelos, or "Web2) they are on the final leg of their journey from Cub Scouts (Family Camping) to Boy Scouts (Scouts BSA). During this final 6-9 month period, the scouts will not only be completing adventure requirements, but also start using the patrol method and start visiting and camping with troops.
